I get a lot of questions asking what paper/charcoal/pencils I use, so I thought I’d make a post showing everything I use to make a drawing. All of the equipment is listed below and manufacturers tagged in the photo. Hope this helps some of you! .
@strathmoreart 400 Series Bristol Pad Smooth (I actually prefer the 500 series but that is only sold in individual sheets so the pad is just easier!)
@generalpencil Charcoal Pencils (Hard, Soft, Extra Soft)
Blending stumps (any manufacturer will do)
@nitramcharcoal Académie Fusains Charcoal Sticks (H, HB, B)
@nitramcharcoal Bâton de Saule Round stick
Vine charcoal (I have a mixture from different manufacturers)
